How the partnership works
A BIGBRANDS team member gets to know what you sell, how you operate and what you're looking for.
We look at your products, the supply prices you want, and the operational details that matter to you.
Pricing, fulfilment, payment and returns are agreed up front — nothing is assumed.
Once agreed, your approved products are prepared for the marketplace.
When customers order, fulfilment happens according to the process we agreed together.
The supplier programme is currently in a pilot phase as we build our network carefully.
Pricing model
Suppliers provide their agreed supply prices. BIGBRANDS may apply a retail markup when listing products on the marketplace. Suppliers receive their agreed amounts for eligible fulfilled orders, subject to the partnership agreement.
A simple example
If your agreed supply price is R100 and BIGBRANDS lists it for R115, the R15 is BIGBRANDS' retail markup. You still receive your agreed R100 for an eligible fulfilled order.
This is not a percentage commission deducted from your revenue. Final settlement schedules and operational terms are confirmed during onboarding.
Pilot categories
Clothing, footwear, bags and accessories from local retailers and wholesalers.
Homeware, kitchen essentials, décor and everyday living products.
Consumer electronics, phone accessories and related gadgets.
We're initially prioritising a small number of reliable supplier partnerships in these categories rather than onboarding large numbers of businesses.
